Alethia Caraccioli is an artist (B.F.A in Visual Arts, York University) and art therapist in training (DTATI Cand.). She is also an experienced Art Instructor, for several arts organizations within the GTA, including Visual Arts Mississauga and The Royal Academy of Arts & Education in Georgetown. She works predominantly in the photographic medium, specifically analogue, but does enjoy exploring all creative mediums.

Alethia's most recent work focuses on the process of taking mindful photographs. Through her training and lived experiences, Alethia has witnessed the benefits of mindfulness as a form of self-care.

 

The process of taking mindful photographs allows for awareness of the present moment and promotes gratitude for the subtle wonders which can be found in nature.
